Philadelphia-type cervical collar, bivalve orthosis with occipital and chin support, manufactured in cross-linked polyethylene with radiolucent rivets, reduces regional mobility and alleviates pain. In addition, it incorporates a tracheal opening to facilitate access to the trachea and allows adequate ventilation of the area. Indicated for conditions that require spinal immobilisation. Available in sizes from S to XL in four height options: extra low, low, medium and high. Colour Beige.

Philadelphia cervical collar

• DESIGN: It features two adjustable shells, one posterior and one anterior, secured with Velcro straps that hold the collar in a neutral functional position over the cervical region. Easy to apply without needing to handle the user.

• MATERIAL: Manufactured in 11 mm cross‐linked polyethylene foam, a breathable material that provides enhanced comfort. It is also reinforced with a thermoplastic piece in the posterior neck area to deliver stability and consistency.

• RIVETS: The ergonomic design incorporates radiolucent rivets, enabling radiographs to be taken without the need to remove the collar.

• TRACHEAL OPENING: The Philadelphia tracheal model is equipped with an anterior opening to accommodate an emergency tracheostomy tube and/or to allow rapid access for carotid pulse assessment and other emergency interventions.

• SIZES: Available in sizes S, M, L and XL with four height options: extra low, low, medium and high. To determine the appropriate collar size, measure the neck circumference.

Indicated for individuals suffering from cervical osteoarthritis, disc herniation, sprain, post-operative conditions, neck pain, cervicobrachial pain, vertical whiplash syndrome, direct neck trauma, muscle contractures, pain due to excessive postural flexion, minor bone trauma and any other condition that requires spinal immobilisation.
